Creative Scholarship: A NYSID Faculty Exhibition
New York, NY – September 21, 2017 – The New York School of Interior Design is excited to announce Creative Scholarship: A NYSID Faculty Exhibition, an exhibition of faculty work in the categories of interior design, architectural design, fine art, and writing and publishing shown in NYSID’s 69th Street Gallery. Creative Scholarship will feature more than 54 works providing an opportunity for faculty to display their creative work to students and the community at large.
The exhibition’s opening reception will be held on Wednesday, October 4 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and the show will run through December 15, 2017. The reception is free and open to the public, and NYSID galleries are always open to the public free of charge.
Organized by Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, Dr. Ellen S. Fisher, this show— like the one produced in 2010— was designed to showcase the variety and vastness of our faculty talent. Invitations were sent to faculty in all eight of the school’s academic programs.
