NYSID to exhibit BFA Thesis Projects

New York, NY - January 2011 - New York School of Interior Design is pleased to present BFA Thesis Projects, Fall 2010, an exhibition consisting of the final projects of 15 students who finished their program in the fall semester. The exhibition will be on view in the gallery at NYSID, located at 170 East 70th Street,  January 27 through March 3, 2011.

The projects, which are hypothetical designs based on the adaptive re-use of existing buildings, allow the students to explore all phases of a professional project such as concept development, presentation drawings, models, and materials boards. The fall 2011 BFA candidates tackled designs for a wide range of projects including retail spaces, hotels, schools, a center for sustainable agriculture, a gambling lounge and even a figure skating and hockey facility.
