The designers at One Hudson Yards imagined an engaging and extraordinary spatial sequence where every detail is considered in the interiors of this 375,000 square foot building, which anchors New York’s Hudson Yards development. Working with craftsmen and artisans from around the world to produce new materials, Andre Kikoski envisioned something special — and sophisticated — at every moment and scale. In this lecture, Kikoski will explore how luxury is emotional, not transactional, and how he sought to create a tailored environment for the residents of the building. He will walk through the unique material palette crafted specifically for the building, and applied ingeniously throughout its interior spaces. As one of the first buildings at Hudson Yards, One Hudson Yards sets the tone for what’s to come, in a manner that stands out and, stands the test of time.
