Kesher is a hotel geared towards individuals who are seeking an authentic travel experience. It is an intimate environment where connections are formed between foreigners and the community. Culture, art, history, and traditions are explored, learned, and appreciated at Kesher. Tzfat, the location chosen, is a small city in Israel filled with all these components that combined offer the perfect destination for people who wish to create relationships and feel a part of this cultured city. Tzfat's economy highly benefits from tourism and this hotel is a way to bring people in to experience all it has to offer. The design intent is to remain authentic to the city through the use of the original Jerusalem stone structural walls of the site, the plan layout, and the color palette. Kesher hopes to give guests a stay they will not easily forget. It will provide a deeper experience of a city and its people that will impact them even after they are long gone.
