NYSID welcomes Barbara Weinreich as the new Director of Undergraduate Programs

The New York School of Interior Design is pleased to welcome Barbara Weinreich as the new Director of Undergraduate Programs!

Barbara is a registered architect and a former principal at MNA, a leading architecture firm specializing in retail and residential design. With over 30 years in professional practice, Barbara is passionate about higher education and supporting students to reach their full potential and achieve their educational goals. She has been a member of the NYSID faculty since 2008, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Contract Design, Retail Design, and Thesis Design Studio. She has also taught interior design at Pratt Institute and project-based design at Brown University. Barbara received a BA, Magna Cum Laude in Art History from Brown University. She has a master’s degree in Architecture (MArch) from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and is NCIDQ certified.
