A Look at October Events and What's Ahead at NYSID

October was packed with an exciting lineup of events! On October 7, the Michael I. and Patricia M. Sovern Lecture on Design was presented by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern followed by a reception and dinner with design professionals and friends.

Then on October 8, Monacelli Press and NYSID co-hosted a fabulous celebration at The Four Seasons for the release of Interior Landmarks: Treasures of New York, co-authored by Judith Gura and Kate Wood with photography by Larry Lederman. In celebration of the book's release, there is also an exhibition of select photos by Lederman on display through November 30 in The Four Seasons lobby (proceeds from the sale of the photos will benefit NYSID).
