Special Reception at NY Art, Antique & Jewelry Show
On Wednesday, September 17, NYSID hosted nearly 200 friends, alumni, and colleagues at a private preview of the first New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show at the Park Avenue Armory. NYSID chairman Patricia M. Sovern and president David Sprouls greeted guests at the entrance to the Drill Hall where they were able to visit the booths of some 70 exhibitors before the doors opened to a record-breaking number of attendees.
NYSID guests included trustees Elliot Greene, Anne Korman, Ellen Kravet, and Dennis Miller; designers Geoffrey Bradfield, Ellie Cullman, Mercedes Desio, Campion Platt; alumni Maggie Cohen, Lawrence Levy, Drew McGukin, Susan Marocco, Federico Monaco, Sylvia Owen, Cheryl Tague, Alberto Villalobos, among many others. Distinguished friends and advisors present included Agnes Bourne, Graziano de Boni, Marina Kellen French, Wolfram Koeppe, Jack Lenor Larsen, and Peter Lyden.
