NYSID’s Vice President for Academic Affairs Sits on Panel for Town+Gown Symposium Event
New York, New York – January 29, 2018 – The New York School of Interior Design’s Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, Dr. Ellen Fisher has been selected to sit on a panel at the New York City Department of Design and Construction’s Town+Gown event, which focuses on pushing design research into implementation. The event is on Wednesday, January 31 at the Administration for Children’s Services, located at 150 William Street, 19th Floor.
Dr. Fisher, along with panelists from Pratt Institute, New York Housing Authority, and the New York Police Department will continue the discussion on three developing design research projects including: New York City Department of Probation’s Neighborhood Opportunity Network Program; New York Department of Police’s “People’s Precinct” Initiative; and New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s Wait Pilot Program.
