NYSID is proud to announce that the college’s Atelier magazine has been awarded a Bronze CUPPIE Award in the Outreach - Magazines category, given by CUPRAP College and University Public Relations & Associated Professionals organization. The 16th annual CUPPIE Awards were presented on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Atelier is developed and designed by NYSID’s Marketing Communications & Engagement office in collaboration with managing editor and writer Jennifer Dorr. The magazine serves as both an alumni magazine highlighting success stories throughout various industry verticals and a reinforcement of the benefit of NYSID’s rigorous academic approach, faculty of working design professionals, and student experience for prospective students who receive the magazine. The Fall 2022 issue was submitted for consideration and can be viewed at nysid.edu/atelier along with past issues. We thank the alumni, faculty, students and staff, who have generously donated their time to participate in interviews, photo shoots and share images of their exceptional work.

According to CUPRAP organizers, a total of 501 entries across categories were received from colleges, universities,  agencies, and providers of private, specialized, and secondary education. Judges represented experts in the field of communications and included designers, writers, educators, corporate executives, and media professionals.
