McMillen Inc: Nine Decades of Interior Design, a retrospective exhibition celebrating the oldest continuously operating interior design firm in America, opened to glowing praise on Tuesday, September 16. Over 150 guests, including McMillen clients, friends, and noted designers Mario Buatta and Jamie Drake, attended the private reception. Guests marveled at the accomplishments of McMillen in over 250 original photographs, renderings, maquettes, and watercolors displayed at NYSID.

NYSID also hosted a discussion, “Much About McMillen” on Wednesday, October 15, 6pm, with a panel of McMillen designers past and present.

McMillen Inc. Nine Decades of Interior Design will be on view through December 5, 2014.
