In order to attend courses at NYSID, a student must either be formally accepted by the Office of Admissions into the MFA, BFA, AAS, or Basic Interior Design program, or enroll as a nonmatriculated student. After enrolling for two consecutive semesters or reaching a maximum of 9 credits on a nonmatriculated basis, you must apply to a program in order to continue taking courses at NYSID. Students in the BFA, AAS, or Basic Interior Design programs must have their registration forms signed by an academic advisor. NY State requires that, prior to registration, all students born on or after January 1, 1957 and registering for 6 or more credits must submit proof of immunization. Registration forms can be downloaded from this site during registration periods. The Registration guide below describes policies and procedures students need to know related to registration. The course schedule lists times and availability. Once a student is registered in a course, students can check their schedules online on the NYSID web portal. |
