NYSID Emergency Procedures

When a situation arises that has the potential to place the NYSID community at risk, the School will communicate with students, faculty, and staff via email, SMS message, and by placing alerts on the main website, www.nysid.edu.

In addition, information about School closings due to weather can be found by calling the main number, 212.472.1500 or checking the homepage of the website, www.nysid.edu. NYSID follows the NYC Department of Education's weather-related closing policy and will cancel classes when classes are cancelled at New York City public schools.
